a little something . . .

for the awesome teachers at my girls' nursery school!

this is where the paint all over my little brown eyed girl came from! the girls have 2 teachers each . . . so they painted each of their teachers' gift bags tonight.

then they each got to paint one side of the gift bag for the director of the nursery school. i love how shrimp's side was mostly red and little miss did her side mostly green. very representative of how very . . . very different they are!

note to self . . .

don't get sidetracked when cleaning up paint!

this pair of flops match a custom fleur de lis lounge set i did . . . and i forgot to take a picture of the lounge set! i also did a 3/4 length sleeve raglan with the fleur de lis for a tween . . . and it was precious. of course . . . forgot to take a picture of that too!

here is the video from the competition today . . . i know there is a nana and pops that is anxious to see it! i will post pictures later. little miss is the very front point at the beginning of their routine.

today's the big day . . .

today is little miss' first cheerleading competition! you can be sure i will have tons of pictures to post later in the day and hopefully a video as well. i'm not sure who's more excited . . . me or little miss! i'm just hoping she's not a grouch today. she came downstairs last night at about 1:30 am while i was trying to get shrimp's shirt finished (i will have pictures of that as well). she was coughing like crazy. so i gave her some medicine and let her get in our bed. well once little miss starts coughing . . . she doesn't stop until she gags! and of course at about 2:30 she gagged and i had to try and rummage up some extra blankets to put on our bed! and then she knocked out . . . and has slept like a baby since!

since every single christmas decoration that we own . . . is in missouri, more than 600 miles away . . . our tree is full of paper chains and snowflakes . . . and it is "so beautiful" as little miss tells us several times a day!

don't press your luck. one saints game a season is enough for the girls!

super girls . . .

we are going to have 3 little superhero girls in our house come Christmas morning. when i saw these capes from babypop . . . i knew i had to order a cape for each of my girls. i can't wait to see how many people they save while flying around my house . . . maybe they can save me from my ever-growing piles of laundry! (i ordered an extra one for another little superhero . . . but i can't say who it's for because i don't want to ruin the surprise!)
