since every single christmas decoration that we own . . . is in missouri, more than 600 miles away . . . our tree is full of paper chains and snowflakes . . . and it is "so beautiful" as little miss tells us several times a day!

It does look beautiful! A few years ago we decorated our tree with all handmade stuff - popcicle stick ornaments and pom-pom garland. I think it was my favorite.
