me two . . .

today our little brown eyed girl is 2 years old! i can't believe how fast she is growing! and yes . . . she is very dirty! that is a combination of cheetos and chocolate cake batter. sound tastey? and yes . . . she is nakey! and i'm proud to say she hasn't had a diaper on the entire day and hasn't had one accident! (big girl panties are definitely going to be one of her birthday presents!) i'm not sure if 2 year olds understand birthdays . . . but she has been walking around the house all day (yes . . . nakey!) singing, "it's me burbay . . . it's me burbay . . . it's me burbay!" and not to mention . . . that if you ask her any question the answer is, "me two!"

she is going potty several times each day for us now . . . and even telling us when she has to go! (and while i'm bragging a little about her . . . she is learning her colors too!)

just around the corner . . .

football season is just around the corner . . . and the excitement is quite obvious here in new orleans. especially in our house . . . sean just might be the biggest saints fan there is! sean's brother and sister in law gave us this just too cute saints hat and tee!and if you are thinking it might be a little small for any of our 3 little girls . . . you are right, it's not for them! its for the little guy that is going to be making his way into our little family sometime in the next 9-ish weeks or so . . . just in time for his first saints football season!

i wish . . .

i understood the thought process of my silly little girls! little miss has vacation bible school this week at her school. she has been so excited about it . . . and was sitting on the porch this morning begging for me to take her, 'right now!' when we get there we see her group . . . it's little miss and her 2 best friends from school! how awesome . . . at least i thought she would think so . . . but i was stuck there for an hour with her completely attached to me . . . when i finally got away from her after an hour. . . tears . . . red eyes . . . all out bawling! and what's funny . . . it wasn't just her crying! little miss was crying because she didn't want to stay . . . little shrimp was crying and kicking because she didn't want to go home!

to get rid of every toy in our house?

i have a whole other crib set that i finished a couple of weeks ago that i need to post pics of too . . . it was a local order so i am going to go take pics of it up in the actual nursery!

ok . . . i was tagged . . . a long time ago . . . so i think it is finally time to get this posted! sorry it took so long amber and chrissy! i had a little reminder from my mom last night that i needed to update my blog . . . and i think this is the perfect thing to do!

1. What were you doing 10 years ago?

july 1998 . . . i had just graduated from high school . . . i was teaching cheer camps for NCA . . . just getting ready to head to pensacola beach, fl for our family summer vacation to see the blue angels (which is where i met sean 2 years later) . . . and just having fun with friends and getting ready to start my first year of college

2. What are 5 things on your to-do list today?

oh i wish there were only 5 things on my to-do list today!

• pick up the neighbors mail and water their plants on their porch (they are at the beach . . . i'm just slightly jealous!)
• order a shoe organizer for my new closet that sean built me in our bathroom
• 3 tutti totes to make for orders
• 3 custom fleur de lis outfits and matching fruity flops
  
• clean, clean, clean, and did i mention clean?

i could go on and on and on . . .


3. What are some snacks you enjoy?

chocolate chip cookies . . . cake . . . ice cream . . . sno balls . . . oh man i'm making myself hungry!!!


4. What would you do if you were a billionaire?

i would have a very happy husband for sure!

of course i wouldn't keep it all . . . leukemia and lymphoma society and the mds foundation would be getting lots of money from me to help with their research for cures!

i would have a house in springfield . . . a house in the garden district in new orleans . . . and a vacation house somewhere with blue water and sand! and being a billionaire i would have the means to travel to any of them whenever i wanted!

and that's about all that i would need!

oh . . . and of course i could go shopping whenever i wanted!
