it's here . . .

my all time favorite magazine ever! i love cottage living so much . . . i don't think i have ever had an issue that i didn't love! with all of the traveling back forth last year from missouri to new orleans . . . my subscription expired and i didn't ever renew it. well i finally renewed it a couple of weeks ago and my first issue arrived today! now i just need to find some time to sit down and enjoy it . . .

oh . . . and it's tuesday! idol is on tonight . . . i can't wait to see how the guys do tonight!

so different . . .

i don't do bugs . . . i don't do anything that crawls or flies . . . little miss loves all of the creepy crawly things. she even touched a lizard outside yesterday.

another good one . . .

it was another great day! little miss let me do her make-up again . . . and she did great performing again today too!

couldn't have been easier . . .

well . . . little miss pulled thru for me this morning. or as she thought it was . . . the middle of the night! it was dark when i got her out of her bed and moved into my bed at about 5:30 am. i gave her a 'healthy' and 'super nutritious' breakfast in bed . . . a bowl of valentine conversation hearts! it definitely did the trick though! i had sesame street on and she got to lay in my bed for a few minutes to kinda get woken up, while i finished getting myself ready. and when it was her turn . . . she was eager to get her pony tail in . . . her pony tail straightened . . . and . . . her make-up on! yes . . . she actually let me do her make-up and didn't fuss one time! i couldn't have been more proud of her. so we were out of the door at my target time . . . 6:15 am. we headed to starbucks for her favorite blueberry coffee cake and milk and then on to the convention center. we were i think the first people there . . . so we were lucky enough to get a parking spot right across the street. her coach couldn't believe her eyes when she walked in and saw my little miss completely ready to go with make-up on and her aunt neille no where in sight! little miss did awesome during her performance . . . she actually shook that little booty and looked like she was having fun . . . so yes . . . candy will be the meal of choice before every competition now!

holy moly . . .

so . . . we have competition this weekend! or i guess i should say little miss has competition this weekend. it's a 2 day event in town . . . so she will competing on both saturday and sunday. it's going to be great . . . except for the fact that on saturday my poor little 4 yr old has to be there at 6:45 am! yes . . . you absolutely read that right! i mean come on . . . does anyone else think that's a little . . . ok a lot crazy? it's one thing for seniors (the older teams) to be there early . . . but a team that is made up of 4 and 5 yr olds! do they understand the amount of drama that will be going on in my house to get my little girl who loves to sleep up at about 5:30 in the morning! there is drama on any normal day when she has to be at school by 9 am. and saturday when we have to be there at 6:45 . . . she has to be completely dressed in uniform and with make-up and hair done! i don't know if you have read any of my other posts about competition days . . . but little miss will not let me put her make-up on. so now i have to come up with a really good bribe . . . i'm thinking chocolate . . . chocolate . . . and more chocolate . . . and hope she will give in this time so i don't have to rely on my sister in law to get to the competition even earlier since that is the only person that she wants to do her make-up. thank goodness that on sunday she doesn't have to be there until 11 am.

my little shrimp got a stamp at school today! you might be thinking . . . yeah yeah what's the big deal? well . . . i couldn't tell you the last time she got a stamp! they get a stamp on their hand for being good the whole morning. and if you know my little shrimp . . . you would know that she is quite the "spirited" little girl. she is very independent . . . she does not in the least bit like to be told what to do . . . if you make her upset she will definitely let you know! with all that said . . . she is by far the most lovable little girl i know! her hugs and kisses are the best ever. and it's been quite a long time since she got a stamp at school. so i have been bribing her and today she finally got a stamp! so we got to go eat lunch with daddy at the park after school . . . and then it was home to paint because it started raining.

house guests . . .

these little ladybugs are much better than the last house guests we had! (nine . . . yes i said nine . . . mice!) i'm not exactly sure where they are coming from . . . but there is a ton of them.

settling down now . . .

ok . . . after only a couple of minor heart attacks . . . i have found out that my site should be back up and running smoothly very shortly! now i just have figure out a way to use e.s.p. and answer the emails that i wasn't able to receive while all of this has been going on! i was in contact with several people the past couple of days about new products i am going to offer . . . my wholesale pricing for other people . . . customers about several different things . . . so if you are one of those people that have tried to email me in the past couple of days and you haven't heard back from me . . . please email me again because i haven't been able to get my messages! cross your fingers for me that my site will be back up soon!

well that feels much better . . . except that it didn't fix anything! tutti fruity designs has been down so many times the past couple of days and i have no idea why! it's not just my site . . . all of the sites that my designer has done are down as well. so i'm guessing is some kind of server issues. i'm trying to do updates and get some super cute new things loaded on the site and of course it's down right now! hopefully it will be up and running again very soon . . . or i think i might go crazy!

the girls got a package of movies (i joined the disney movie club for them) in the mail today . . . so they are having some veg out time before they go back to school tomorrow. it's been a long . . . long weekend!
